babies are like magnets.

At church yesterday I think about half of the congregation stopped to say hi to Sydney (and then to me, out of obligation...haha) before they sat down. It was funny to see how excited people were to see her. Sydney got a bit overwhelmed but enjoyed it for the most part. She even gave out a few smiles every now and then. This is Sydney's first dress. She wore it to church yesterday. I guess you can't help but stop and stare and something this cute ;)

Speaking of smiles...we're finally getting some smiles caught on camera (see slideshow below). Sydney has been so fun lately. She's interacting so much and smiling all the time. It's a whole face smile too...her eyes get all squinty and her mouth opens wide with a grin. Mornings are definitely her favorite part of the day. This morning she woke up crying and hungry, but as soon as I picked her up she started smiling...and then crying...and then smiling. She couldn't figure out if she was mad about being hungry or happy because it was morning time again. It was hilarious. She's up to 10 lbs 10 oz and 23 inches (as of a week ago). She's quickly growing out of everything that has fit her and in a weird stage of not fitting into the next size yet. So...she's wearing her pjs all day most days :) We're having lots of fun with her...she's pretty incredible!
